Private Internet Access VPN

5 Cheapest VPNs

Private Internet Access, or also known as PIA, is known to be a great VPN provider since it packs so many features and security into a small asking price of only $6.95 per month. For this small price, you can get some of the highest speeds with reliable servers protected by PIA’s integrated IP leak protection features and secure encryption within their client app.

AirVPN

5 Cheapest VPNs

5 Cheapest VPNs

AirVPN does have a low price point of only $7.47 a month, but that does come at the cost of some things you might miss (live chat, a mobile app, a premium design/feel). However, that doesn’t mean the provider seems on core VPN essentials like security, speed, performance, and trust. They have a sensible no logging policy, and an airtight open source design.

Pros

Recommended server gives great speeds

Open source client

Transparent developers

One of the cheapest VPNs

Cons

No mobile app

No live chat

Website needs more  work / an update

TunnelBear VPN

5 Cheapest VPNs

Let’s get this out of the way first–TunnelBear VPN is one of the few GOOD VPN providers that doesn’t allow torrenting. Stupid, I know–but given that, they do have an excellent service that is not only extremely easy to use and user-friendly, but they also have decent speeds, excellent customer support, and a useable mobile application. We loved some of the attention to detail that this VPN provider placed on their VPN and brand–like a woody interface with audio effects that makes the VPN experience fun.

Pros

Funny branding

Pleasure to use

Decent speeds, good encryption, kill switch

Cons

No torrenting

Speeds aren’t as high as they could be
