What VPN is Better Than CyberGhost?

While CyberGhost does have a number of VPN servers for you to choose from all over Europe, it is not necessarily the best VPN for you to use. There are a number of good reasons why CyberGhost is far from the best option for you to check out when trying to get a VPN running.

The Key Issues

The problems that come with using CyberGhost are especially concerning:

  • You are only restricted to three hours of access on the VPN during a typical session.
  • With less than 500 servers on the service, this might be rather difficult to use. There are no servers in Asia or Latin America either.
  • The speeds on CyberGhost are rather unreliable. They are slow and sluggish at times.
  • The apps are not always responsive. Sometimes the help page will not even load. Also, your computer might start to act odd when it is trying to automatically connect to a VPN. It may start to slow down.
  • The process for downloading it is rather tough to bear with. The site for downloading it runs automatically and could make it to where you download the client several times over.
  • You have to be a premium member to actually get access to the best possible servers.
  • You can only get one connection going at a time with the VPN. You can’t get multiple devices in your home or office to work with the same link all at once.
  • It does block some torrents. While torrents can be accepted in a few spots, it is difficult to try and predict which torrents are actually taken in and what CyberGhost will block.
  • The support system from CyberGhost is especially frustrating. It takes a while for CyberGhost to respond to your support ticket request. The process of getting a refund is especially frustrating as it entails several contacts needed just to help you get your refund in a proper fashion.

What Better Options Are There?

CyberGhost is a frustrating option to have when trying to find a VPN. There are a number of other VPNs that are worth your time instead:

  • TorGuard is a stronger option for how it offers up to five simultaneous connections and has thousands of servers from all parts of the world. It does not log your information either.
  • IPVanish uses AED-256 encryption to secure your data properly. It also has a variety of discounts for annual customers.
  • PIA does not block any torrents. It also uses an RSA-4096 key, a point that is twice as strong as what most other torrents use. This is used to give you a stronger SSL certification so you will get online faster and without lots of stress when trying to stay connected.
  • TunnelBear is a Canadian company that has strong security standards. It especially works to handle more connections with added mobile support for tablets and phones at a time on the same account.

Be sure to look around when finding a VPN. Remember that CyberGhost is not a proper option for a VPN even if the servers do appear to be intriguing.
