ExpressVPN Ads More Simultaneous Devices

2016-06-17 10_52_33-More Connections and Less Restrictions with ExpressVPN

One of our critiques in our ExpressVPN review was that it only had support for two simultaneous devices. Compared to competitors like TorGuard and Private Internet Access, who have 5, two is quite weak. However, now, in a recent update, ExpressVPN has added more support for more devices.

Today ExpressVPN announced that they now provide support for three simultaneous devices without any need to upgrade a current plan. This is much better than only two devices, and the company says the reason is that “ExpressVPN’s change of terms is a bespoke response to the Internet-thirsty demands of today’s society. The days of a single shared PC at home are long gone, and many of us access the web on a host of different devices.”

If you haven’t tried out ExpressVPN, it’s excellent. While it lacked some security (for a time it only had blowfish encryption–but in a recent update they improved it to 256-AES), and it remains up in the air if the Chinese government hacked it (they claim it didn’t–but they did update their RSA key in response), it still is much better than a lot of VPNs since it has great apps that work well and provide high speeds. It’s also very user-friendly and has a great first-time setup process. If you’re new to VPN, we recommend it as a service.

ExpressVPN is also one of the few VPNs that works with Netflix. However, you need specific instructions. To find out how to access Netflix, see this article.
