2017 in many ways, seems to be the year of Litecoin.

Litecoin, if you’re unaware, is sort of like Bitcoins younger and somewhat “better” brother. It’s designed around the open source Bitcoin code, but it has some improvements.

Litecoin can handle more transactions due to a higher block generation which means that Litecoin is twice as fast at confirming transactions as Bitcoin. Whereas a merchant would need 10 minutes to confirm a transaction, Litecoin would only need 2.5 minutes.

It’s now April of 2017, and Litecoin has risen past previous expectations and it currently sits around $12 and rising due to rumored SegWit activation which only needs 75% and now hovers around 70%.

If Litecoin miners pass SegWit activation (it means upgrading the block size limit which means better scalability), we could see a HUGE boost in Litecoin use, and it’s especially good for VPN providers and you as a customer since due to the way it confirms faster, you can get faster access to your VPN without having to wait for confirmations.

So which VPNs support the new evolving cryptocurrency of the future?
